What I like best about GLSA is there are a lot of cool adventures, fun stuff to do and great staff!

Green Lake School-Age Care Program (GLSA) is a non-profit childcare serving children ages 5-12 and located in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to meet the needs of working families by providing enriching before-and after-school experiences for children in a safe, healthy, and positive environment. To further that goal we provide a home-like environment in which children can choose activities which best meet their individual needs. There is time to unwind, make friends, gain new skills, do homework alone or with assistance, develop trusting relationships with caring adults, and have fun. In addition to the school-year program, we provide a full day summer program. We primarily serve children from Green Lake Elementary, but we also welcome children from other schools in our area.
GLSA is committed to serving a diverse population of children and will adapt the space and activities so that all children can participate fully. We value the diversity of our families' cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, and strive to create a program that challenges bias and honors all families' beliefs and practices. GLSA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation or economic background.
